About the Rochester Chapter World Of Accounting Committee

The annual World of Accounting event is held at the HSBC building in Rochester. This “field trip” event features a variety of speakers and events, all focused on providing High School students with an introduction to Accounting as a career choice and the many options available to them in public, private and government settings. Also featured are tours of the host accounting firm offices: Mengel Metzger Barr & Co. and Insero & Co. This event has been very popular since its launch in 2003, and, to date, almost two thousand high school students in the Rochester area have attended a World of Accounting event. There is no charge to teacher or students, breakfast and lunch are included.
