About the Rochester Chapter Cooperation with the Bar Committee

The Cooperation with the Bar Committee provides the professional interface with the Monroe County Bar Association for matters other than the Rochester Tax Institute. The Committee’s focus is with the Business Law Section of the Bar Association. Past joint sessions included Continuing Professional Education courses in Business Valuations prepared to AICPA Standards, Effective Business Succession Planning, and Business Valuations Focused on Mergers and Acquisitions. 

Discussions with the Bar Association’s Director have been initiated to make a number of Bar Association short courses available to NYSSCPA Members and have them qualify for CPE.
